In keeping with the optimism of the last post (no cooling tips), here are some tips if your geothermal (WaterFurnace, ClimateMaster, NextEnergy, etc) unit isn’t heating or cooling.
1. Check the batteries in your thermostat
2. Adjust the temperature a couple degrees (raise it if you are looking for heat and lower if you are looking for cooling)
3. Check the air filter is clean
4. Reset the breaker at the electrical panel
5. If problem persists, contact your service contractor.
6. Even if problem corrected itself, make sure you book an annual service on your unit.
